Baby Rowan: Newborn Photo Session

Little Rowan Edward arrived into the world on Monday, May 5th, just a few days ahead of his predicted due date. After a few days to settle into having a new baby in the house, I paid his parents Laura and Gail a visit in their home to do a newborn photo session. Rowan's furry siblings, Gracie and Stroker, the family cats, were very curious about why I was there, and paid me quite a few sneak visits! We even caught Stroker in a photo bomb! Rowan was also very curious, at just twelve days old - he was looking around, checking out his surroundings, and wondering what was going on. After he finally settled into a nap, we were able to capture a few adorable shots of him in his little dinosaur hat. His nursery theme is The Adorable Dino, and he's been affectionately nicknamed "Rowanasauras". Adorable is right!

Every newborn session also features simple, clean, organic images that highlight your new little love. This ensures images that will endure, and be timeless for years to come. These images are a priority during your session, followed by props and more creative sets as your newborn allows. Sleepy babies are a must for the curly posed images, so I will work with you to help you best prepare for your session. You will also have ample places to relax and attend to your baby's every need throughout the session, in my comfortable in-home studio.
